2016 was so many things. It was the most beautiful and magical year of my life.
Erik and I were showered with so much love – all year – that we could burst. I walked down the aisle looking at our family and friends from across the globe, from many seasons of our lives, and I was so happy I forgot to look at my groom.
I earned a master’s, which was hard, and stressful, and very fulfilling. I turned 30, and we all counted down to midnight, champagne in hand, to bid my 20s adieu.
I was blessed to be able to take a (much needed) month long adventure in SE Asia. Which fed my soul.
2016 was a lot of heartbreak globally. The capacity for people to organize and stand up for what is good never ceases to amaze me. It makes me proud, it gives me hope.
I’ve never teared up after ringing in the new year before. But I’m geared up for what’s ahead.
So many things.
